Ingredients
- Apples (2 cups, peeled and diced)
- All-purpose flour (2 cups)
- Brown sugar (½ cup)
- Butter (½ cup, melted and divided)
- Sugar (¼ cup)
- Eggs (2 large)
- Milk (½ cup)
- Baking powder (2 tsp)
- Cinnamon (2 tsp)
- Salt (¼ tsp)
- Vanilla extract (1 tsp)
Instructions
- Mix melted butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt; stir into wet mix until just combined.
- Add diced apples and gently mix to distribute evenly.
- Spoon batter into lined muffin cups about ¾ full.
- Combine ¼ cup flour, 2 tbsp butter, 2 tbsp brown sugar, and ½ tsp cinnamon until crumbly; sprinkle over each muffin.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before enjoying warm with a pat of butter.
Notes
