Description

A luxurious no-bake layered cheese terrine with sweet figs, bold gorgonzola, and toasted pecans.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 4 oz Gorgonzola cheese
  • 1 cup Dried figs (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Toasted pecans (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or thyme)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: splash of cream for smoother texture
  • Crackers or baguette for serving

Instructions

  1. Beat cream cheese and gorgonzola together until smooth; season lightly with salt, pepper, and a touch of honey.
  2. Line a small loaf pan with plastic wrap, leaving overhang for lifting.
  3. Spread a thick layer of the cheese mixture into the bottom of the pan.
  4. Mix chopped figs and toasted pecans with a drizzle of honey, then press this mixture evenly over the cheese layer.
  5. Top with the remaining cheese mixture and smooth the surface.
  6. Cover and chill 2–3 hours (or overnight) to fully set.
  7. Lift out, un-mold, slice, and garnish with fresh herbs; serve with crackers or bread.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, add a splash of cream to the cheese mixture.
  • Chilling overnight enhances the flavors.
