  • Brown sugar (½ cup)
  • All-purpose flour (1 cup)
  • Baking powder (1 tsp)
  • Salt (¼ tsp)
  • Egg (1 large)
  • Vanilla extract (1 tsp)
  • Crispy rice cereal (½ cup, optional for extra crunch)

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy, then mix in egg and vanilla.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together; gradually fold into the wet mixture.
  3. Stir in chopped hazelnuts and crispy rice cereal.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined sheet; bake 10–12 minutes until golden edges form.
  5. Let cookies rest on a wire rack to firm up.
  6. Melt chocolate and dip each cookie halfway (or fully) to coat; sprinkle chopped hazelnuts on top.
