Description
Tender beef strips and crisp broccoli tossed in a rich, garlicky soy sauce glaze — better than takeout!
Ingredients

- 1 lb Flank or sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 2 cups Broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp Sesame oil
- Cooked white rice (for serving)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and a splash of water; set aside.
- Heat sesame oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.
- Add sliced steak and stir-fry until browned but still tender; remove and set aside.
- Add broccoli to the same pan with a few tablespoons of water, stir-frying until bright green and just tender.
- Return beef to the pan and pour in the sauce mixture, tossing until glossy and thickened.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes until fully coated and sizzling.
- Serve hot over fluffy white rice.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes for heat.
- Make sure not to overcook the broccoli to maintain its crunch.
- This dish can be served with other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots.
