Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Dark chocolate (good quality)
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • Cocoa powder / sprinkles / nuts (for coating)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: espresso powder or liqueur

Instructions

  1. Heat heavy cream until steaming, then pour over chopped dark chocolate and butter.
  2. Let sit 2 minutes, then stir until smooth and glossy; add vanilla and salt.
  3. Chill ganache 1–2 hours until scoopable.
  4. Scoop small portions and roll quickly into balls with cool hands.
  5. Coat in cocoa powder, sprinkles, chopped nuts, or chocolate jimmies.
  6. Chill again to set.
  7. Serve cool and store refrigerated.
