- 4 Chicken drumsticks
- 2 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 2 Garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- Steamed white rice (for serving)
Instructions
- Season drumsticks generously with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Sear chicken in olive oil until deeply golden on all sides; remove from pan.
- Sauté onion and garlic in the same pan until soft and fragrant.
- Stir in paprika, mustard, chicken broth, and cream; simmer gently.
- Return chicken to the sauce and transfer to oven.
- Roast for 25–30 minutes until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.
- Garnish with parsley and serve over steamed rice.
Notes
- Ensure chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
