- 2 Chicken breasts
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
- Reserved pasta water
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook penne in salted water until al dente; reserve ½ cup pasta water.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Sear chicken in olive oil until golden and cooked through; slice and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic briefly until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently.
- Stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth, loosening with pasta water if needed.
- Toss in penne, top with chicken, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for added nutrition.
- Adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding more or less pasta water.
