Description

Velvety, cheesy seafood layers packed with juicy shrimp, sweet crab, and golden baked edges.


Ingredients

  • Shrimp, cooked & chopped (plus whole shrimp for topping)
  • Lump crab meat
  • Lasagna noodles
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Butter
  • Garlic
  • Flour
  • Heavy cream
  • Parmesan
  • Ricotta
  • Parsley
  • Salt & pepper
  • Old Bay or seafood seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook lasagna noodles until al dente; set aside.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, then whisk in flour to form a light roux.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and Parmesan, simmering until thick and creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and optional seafood seasoning.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta with chopped shrimp, crab, parsley, and a spoonful of the sauce.
  5. Layer noodles → seafood ricotta → mozzarella → creamy sauce. Repeat 3–4 layers.
  6. Pour remaining sauce on top, add shredded mozzarella, and place whole shrimp over the surface.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes until bubbly and golden. Rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Ensure the shrimp is cooked before adding to the mixture.
  • Let the lasagna rest to set for easier slicing.
  • Optional: Add more seafood seasoning for extra flavor.
