Ingredients
- Shrimp, cooked & chopped (plus whole shrimp for topping)
- Lump crab meat
- Lasagna noodles
- Mozzarella cheese
- Butter
- Garlic
- Flour
- Heavy cream
- Parmesan
- Ricotta
- Parsley
- Salt & pepper
- Old Bay or seafood seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- Cook lasagna noodles until al dente; set aside.
- In a skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, then whisk in flour to form a light roux.
- Pour in heavy cream and Parmesan, simmering until thick and creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and optional seafood seasoning.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta with chopped shrimp, crab, parsley, and a spoonful of the sauce.
- Layer noodles → seafood ricotta → mozzarella → creamy sauce. Repeat 3–4 layers.
- Pour remaining sauce on top, add shredded mozzarella, and place whole shrimp over the surface.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until bubbly and golden. Rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Ensure the shrimp is cooked before adding to the mixture.
- Let the lasagna rest to set for easier slicing.
- Optional: Add more seafood seasoning for extra flavor.
