Ingredients
- Ground beef (or beef + pork mix)
- Mushrooms (sliced)
- Heavy cream
- Beef broth
- Onion
- Breadcrumbs
- Egg
- Butter
- Worcestershire sauce
- Garlic powder
- Allspice
- Salt
- Pepper
- Fresh parsley
Instructions
- Mix ground meat with onion, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, allspice, salt, and pepper; shape into meatballs.
- Sear meatballs in butter until browned on all sides; remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté mushrooms in more butter until golden.
- Stir in a spoon of flour, then add beef broth and Worcestershire; simmer until slightly thickened.
- Pour in heavy cream and return meatballs to the sauce.
- Simmer 10–12 minutes until meatballs are cooked through and sauce is velvety.
- Garnish with parsley and serve over noodles or mashed potatoes.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can use ground turkey instead of beef.
- Serve with egg noodles or mashed potatoes for a traditional touch.
