Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk

  • ½ cup strawberry puree or jam

  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt; add alternately with milk until smooth.
  4. Divide batter into three bowls — leave one plain (vanilla), add cocoa to the second (chocolate), and strawberry puree plus coloring to the third (strawberry).
  5. Layer batters evenly in the pan: chocolate first, strawberry next, vanilla on top.
  6. Bake 35–40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean; cool completely.
  7. Frost with swirls of whipped or buttercream frosting in matching Neapolitan shades.
