Ingredients

- 8 oz Farfalle (bow-tie pasta)
- 2 cans Canned tuna (in water, drained)
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup Cream (or crème fraîche)
- 1 Onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning or dried oregano
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted water until just al dente; drain and set aside.
- Sauté onion in olive oil until soft, then add garlic and cook briefly.
- Stir in cream, tuna, seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer gently.
- Add cooked pasta and half the mozzarella; mix until well coated.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan.
- Bake uncovered until golden, bubbly, and lightly crisp on top.
Notes
- For a healthier option, use low-fat cream or a dairy-free alternative.
- Feel free to add vegetables like peas or spinach for extra nutrition.
- Garnish with fresh parsley for added flavor and color.
