A bubbling, cheesy comfort bake that turns pantry tuna into a family favorite.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Farfalle (bow-tie pasta)
  • 2 cans Canned tuna (in water, drained)
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Cream (or crème fraîche)
  • 1 Onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning or dried oregano
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until just al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté onion in olive oil until soft, then add garlic and cook briefly.
  3. Stir in cream, tuna, seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer gently.
  4. Add cooked pasta and half the mozzarella; mix until well coated.
  5. Transfer to a baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan.
  6. Bake uncovered until golden, bubbly, and lightly crisp on top.
