Description

A golden sourdough loaf stuffed with melty brie and finished with glossy cranberry sauce—gooey, festive, and perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • Sourdough loaf (round or oval)
  • Brie cheese (wheel or block)
  • Cranberry sauce (whole berry)
  • Butter (melted)
  • Fresh parsley
  • Garlic (minced or powder)
  • Salt & pepper
  • Orange zest (optional for brightness)

Instructions

  1. Slice the sourdough in a crosshatch pattern without cutting through the bottom.
  2. Insert chunks or slices of brie deep into all the cuts.
  3. Mix melted butter with garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley; brush generously over the loaf.
  4. Wrap loosely in foil and bake for 20 minutes until cheese is fully melted.
  5. Remove foil, spoon warm cranberry sauce over the top, and bake for 5–10 more minutes.
  6. Add fresh parsley or orange zest.
  7. Pull apart pieces while warm and gooey.

Notes

  • Best served warm for maximum gooeyness.
  • Can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
  • Feel free to customize with additional herbs or spices.
