Description

A creamy, herby cheese ball shaped like a pumpkin — the perfect savory showstopper for fall parties and holiday spreads.

Ingredients

  • Cream cheese (16 oz, softened)
  • Shredded cheddar cheese (1 cup)
  • Green onions (2 tbsp, finely chopped)
  • Garlic powder (1 tsp)
  • Paprika (2 tsp)
  • Crushed nacho cheese chips or cheese powder (for coating)
  • Parsley (1 tbsp, chopped)
  • Pretzel stick or bell pepper stem (for pumpkin “stem”)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, green onions, garlic powder, and paprika; mix until smooth and well blended.
  2. Shape the mixture into a ball and chill for 30–45 minutes until firm.
  3. Roll the cheese ball in crushed chips or cheese powder for a bright orange coating.
  4. Use a knife or string to gently press indentations around the sides to mimic a pumpkin shape.
  5. Place a pretzel stick or pepper stem on top for the pumpkin stem.
  6. Sprinkle with parsley for color and garnish.
  7. Serve with crackers, pretzels, or sliced veggies for dipping.

Notes

  • Chill the cheese ball for at least 30 minutes to ensure it holds its shape.
  • Feel free to customize the herbs and spices to your taste.
  • This cheese ball can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
