Description

Crispy grilled tortillas stuffed with tender shredded beef and melty cheese, perfect for dipping in rich au jus.


Ingredients

  • Shredded beef (pot roast or slow-cooked)
  • Flour tortillas
  • Provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • Au jus (for dipping)
  • Butter or oil (for browning)
  • Salt & pepper
  • Fresh parsley (garnish)
  • Optional: caramelized onions

Instructions

  1. Warm tortillas and layer shredded beef and cheese down the center of each.
  2. Roll tightly into burrito-style roll-ups.
  3. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat and place roll-ups seam-side down.
  4. Cook until all sides are golden and the cheese is melted, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  5. Warm au jus on the side for dipping.
  6. Slice roll-ups or serve whole with parsley on top.
  7. Dip generously into au jus for the full French dip flavor.
