Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugars until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla, and mashed bananas; mix well.
  3. Divide batter in half. Stir melted chocolate and cocoa powder into one half to create the brownie layer.
  4. Spread chocolate batter into the pan, then gently layer the banana batter on top. Swirl lightly with a knife.
  5. Arrange banana slices over the top and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  6. Bake 30–35 minutes until set in the center. Cool completely before slicing into bars.
