Ingredients

Instructions
- Prepare filling by simmering chopped figs with a little water until soft; blend into a thick paste (or use fig jam).
- Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and cinnamon, then combine with wet ingredients to form dough.
- Roll dough, cut circles, and spoon a bit of fig filling inside; fold and seal.
- Bake 12–14 minutes until lightly golden.
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla into a smooth glaze.
- Spread glaze over cooled cookies and let set before serving.
