Instructions
- Cream butter with granulated and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla until smooth.
- Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; add to wet ingredients.
- Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet and slightly flatten.
- Spoon marshmallow creme on top and gently swirl into the dough.
- Bake until set on the edges but soft in the center.
- Cool slightly, then finish with chocolate shavings if desired.
Notes
- Ensure the butter is softened for easier mixing.
- Do not overbake to maintain the gooey center.
- Chocolate shavings are optional but add a nice touch.
