Instructions
- Prepare chocolate cupcake batter (boxed or homemade) and bake 12 cupcakes at 175°C / 350°F for 18–22 minutes. Cool completely.
- Tint buttercream a vibrant Grinch-green using gel coloring.
- Pipe a tall swirl of frosting on each cupcake using a star or round piping tip.
- For the Grinch face topper, pipe a smooth green dome shape at the front of the swirl.
- Add facial details: Pipe dark chocolate/black gel eyebrows and outlines.
- Add white dots for eyes, then small yellow/green pupils.
- Pipe a tiny smirk line for the mouth.
- Finish with a small red swirl “hat tip” on top (optional but matches the photo).
- Chill briefly to set details, then serve these adorable Grinch treats!
