- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp red food coloring (for pink swirl)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: extra whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Gently melt white chocolate and let cool slightly.
- Beat heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla to soft peaks.
- Fold melted white chocolate into half of the whipped cream to make the white mousse.
- Add peppermint extract and a touch of red coloring to the remaining whipped cream.
- Spoon alternating layers of white and pink peppermint mousse into jars.
- Add a swirl of whipped cream and crushed candy canes.
- Refrigerate 15–30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Ensure the white chocolate is not too hot when folding into the whipped cream to maintain fluffiness.
- Adjust the amount of peppermint extract to taste.
- For a more festive look, use additional crushed candy canes on top.
