Description

Flaky, buttery croissants baked to golden perfection and glazed with honeyed pecan syrup for a rich, nutty crunch.

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry or croissant dough
  • Pecans
  • Honey
  • Butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Vanilla extract
  • Egg (for egg wash)
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out croissant dough, cut into triangles, and place a few chopped pecans at the wide end.
  3. Roll up each triangle, tucking the ends under.
  4. Brush tops with beaten egg and bake for 20–25 minutes until puffed and golden.
  5. In a saucepan, melt butter with honey, brown sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt.
  6. Stir in whole and chopped pecans, coating them evenly.
  7. Spoon the warm honey pecan mixture over the croissants right before serving.

Notes
