Ingredients
- Slider buns
- Thinly sliced roast beef
- Provolone cheese
- Unsalted butter
- Dijon mustard
- Worcestershire sauce
- Beef broth
- Olive oil
- Yellow onion, thinly sliced
- Garlic, minced
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Sauté onion in olive oil until soft and lightly caramelized; add garlic briefly.
- Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire; simmer lightly, then remove from heat.
- Slice slider buns in half and place bottoms in a baking dish.
- Layer roast beef evenly, then provolone cheese.
- Spoon some onion mixture over beef and add bun tops.
- Mix melted butter with Dijon and brush generously over buns.
- Bake covered until melty, uncover to brown, then garnish and serve with au jus.
