Ingredients

  • Slider buns
  • Thinly sliced roast beef
  • Provolone cheese
  • Unsalted butter
  • Dijon mustard
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Beef broth
  • Olive oil
  • Yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • Garlic, minced
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sauté onion in olive oil until soft and lightly caramelized; add garlic briefly.
  2. Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire; simmer lightly, then remove from heat.
  3. Slice slider buns in half and place bottoms in a baking dish.
  4. Layer roast beef evenly, then provolone cheese.
  5. Spoon some onion mixture over beef and add bun tops.
  6. Mix melted butter with Dijon and brush generously over buns.
  7. Bake covered until melty, uncover to brown, then garnish and serve with au jus.
