Instructions
- Cream butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in peppermint extract and a drop or two of green food coloring if using.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cornstarch, and salt; add to the dough until combined.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips evenly.
- Scoop and roll dough into small balls; place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Bake until set but not browned, 12–14 minutes.
- Cool slightly, then roll generously in powdered sugar; cool fully for a soft, snowy finish.

- Ensure butter is softened for easy creaming.
