Ingredients

  • Chicken breast (1 lb, cubed)
  • BBQ sauce (1 cup, smoky or sweet style)
  • Honey (2 tbsp)
  • Penne pasta (12 oz)
  • Olive oil (2 tbsp)
  • Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
  • Chicken broth (2 cups)
  • Onion powder (1 tsp)
  • Smoked paprika (½ tsp)
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet, add chicken cubes, and cook until golden on all sides.
  2. Stir in garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper; cook until fragrant.
  3. Whisk BBQ sauce and honey together; pour over chicken and stir to coat evenly.
  4. Add uncooked penne and chicken broth directly into the pan; stir well and bring to a simmer.
  5. Cover and cook 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
  6. Adjust seasoning, drizzle extra BBQ sauce if desired, and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
