Description
One-Skillet Baked Caprese Chicken features tender, juicy chicken breasts smothered in melty mozzarella, roasted tomatoes, basil, and a balsamic finish.
Ingredients

- 4 Chicken breasts
- 8 oz Fresh mozzarella
- 1 cup Cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 cup Fresh basil
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp Balsamic glaze or vinegar
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic, and Italian seasoning.
- Sear chicken in an oven-safe skillet with olive oil until golden on both sides.
- Add cherry tomatoes around the chicken.
- Top each breast with slices of fresh mozzarella.
- Bake at 400°F for 15–20 minutes until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted.
- Scatter chopped basil on top.
- Finish with a drizzle of balsamic glaze and serve hot.
Notes
- Ensure chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Feel free to substitute other herbs if desired.
- Serve with a side salad or crusty bread for a complete meal.
