Instructions
- Cut puff pastry into assorted star shapes—from large to small—using cutters for tiered stacking.
- Brush pieces with egg wash and sprinkle lightly with sugar.
- Bake at 400°F until puffed and golden.
- Warm honey or maple syrup to make a simple glossy glaze.
- Stack baked stars from biggest to smallest, adding a dab of glaze between layers to hold them.
- Scatter cranberries and chopped pistachios over the warm glazed pastry.
- Top with a small pastry star and finish with a dusting of powdered sugar.
