Ingredients
- Ground beef
- Spaghetti
- Crushed tomatoes
- Onion (finely diced)
- Garlic (minced)
- Olive oil
- Tomato paste
- Ground cinnamon
- Dried oregano
- Salt & black pepper
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a deep skillet, heat olive oil and sauté diced onion until soft and golden. Add garlic and cook briefly.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart finely.
- Stir in tomato paste and cook 1–2 minutes to deepen flavor.
- Add crushed tomatoes, cinnamon, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer gently for 20–25 minutes until thick and rich.
- Toss cooked spaghetti into the sauce or spoon generously over plated pasta.
- Finish with chopped fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with lentils or a meat alternative.
- Adjust the seasoning according to taste.
- Serve with grated cheese if desired.
