Ingredients

  • 8 oz Mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  2. Roll into meatballs and brown on all sides in a skillet; remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté mushrooms in butter until golden.
  4. Stir in flour to form a roux, then slowly whisk in beef broth.
  5. Add Worcestershire and soy sauce; simmer until gravy thickens.
  6. Return meatballs to the pan, cover, and simmer gently for 4 hours until tender.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot over mashed potatoes or rice.
