- 3 cloves Fresh garlic, minced

Instructions
- Trim green beans and blanch briefly in salted boiling water until bright green; drain well.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté until fragrant, not browned.
- Add green beans to the skillet and toss to coat in garlic butter.
- Sauté until tender-crisp and lightly blistered.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and a squeeze of lemon if desired.
- Finish with chopped parsley and optional Parmesan before serving.
