Ingredients

  • 2 Sliced onions
  • 1 packet Au jus gravy mix
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brown Steak (Optional but Best): Sear steak cubes in butter until lightly browned.
  2. Layer: Add onions and garlic to the slow cooker, then the steak on top.
  3. Mix Gravy: Whisk au jus mix with beef broth and Worcestershire; pour over steak.
  4. Cook: Slow cook on LOW for 6 hours until fork-tender.
  5. Thicken (Optional): Stir in a cornstarch slurry for a thicker gravy.
  6. Season: Adjust salt and pepper.
  7. Serve: Over egg noodles, mashed potatoes, or rice—garnish with parsley.
