Ingredients

- 1 can Chickpeas (cooked, drained)
- 2 Ripe avocados
- 4 Crispy tostada shells
- 2 Fresh jalapeños
- 1 Red onion (thinly sliced)
- Fresh cilantro
- 2 tbsp Lime juice
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- Salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mash avocados with lime juice, salt, and a drizzle of olive oil until creamy.
- Toss chickpeas with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper; lightly sauté until warmed and fragrant.
- Stir chopped cilantro and sliced jalapeño into the chickpeas.
- Spread a generous layer of avocado mash onto each tostada.
- Spoon chickpea mixture over the avocado base.
- Top with red onion slices and extra cilantro.
- Serve immediately while tostadas stay crisp.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce.
- Can substitute lime juice with lemon juice if preferred.
- Ensure chickpeas are well-drained for best texture.
