Description

Ingredients

  • 1 can Chickpeas (cooked, drained)
  • 2 Ripe avocados
  • 4 Crispy tostada shells
  • 2 Fresh jalapeños
  • 1 Red onion (thinly sliced)
  • Fresh cilantro
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mash avocados with lime juice, salt, and a drizzle of olive oil until creamy.
  2. Toss chickpeas with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper; lightly sauté until warmed and fragrant.
  3. Stir chopped cilantro and sliced jalapeño into the chickpeas.
  4. Spread a generous layer of avocado mash onto each tostada.
  5. Spoon chickpea mixture over the avocado base.
  6. Top with red onion slices and extra cilantro.
  7. Serve immediately while tostadas stay crisp.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce.
