  • Cooked white rice
  • Tomato sauce
  • Onion, finely chopped
  • Garlic, minced
  • Egg
  • Paprika
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and blanch cabbage leaves until flexible; set aside.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until soft; cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, mix ground meat, cooked rice, egg, onion mixture, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place filling on each cabbage leaf, fold sides in, and roll tightly.
  5. Spread a layer of tomato sauce in a baking dish; arrange rolls seam-side down.
  6. Pour remaining sauce over rolls, cover with foil, and bake until tender and saucy.

Notes
