Ingredients

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish.
  2. Cook egg noodles until just al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onion and garlic until soft; whisk in flour to form a roux.
  4. Slowly add beef broth and cream, stirring until thick and smooth; mix in sour cream and mustard.
  5. Fold cooked noodles and meatballs into the sauce until fully coated.
  6. Transfer mixture to baking dish, top with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden; garnish with parsley before serving.
