Ingredients

  • Halloween sprinkles
  • Striped chocolate kisses (or similar candy)

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then beat in egg and vanilla.
  2. Mix in flour and baking powder to form a soft dough; tint with purple gel until vibrant.
  3. Roll dough into balls, coat in sugar, and bake 10–12 minutes until set and puffed.
  4. Remove from oven and immediately press the center to create a well.
  5. Dip the base of each chocolate kiss in melted chocolate or frosting and roll in Halloween sprinkles.
  6. Press each decorated kiss onto the warm cookie to form a “witch hat.”
  7. Cool completely so the hats stay secure.
