Ingredients
- Flank steak, thinly sliced
- Lo mein or spaghetti noodles
- Broccoli florets
- Soy sauce
- Garlic, minced
- Brown sugar
- Sesame oil
- Cornstarch
- Ginger (optional for extra aroma)
Instructions
- Cook noodles until just tender, drain, and toss with a drizzle of sesame oil.
- In a small bowl, whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and cornstarch with a splash of water; set aside.
- Heat sesame oil in a wok and stir-fry beef slices until browned; remove and set aside.
- Add broccoli and a bit of water, stir-frying until just tender-crisp.
- Return beef and noodles to the pan, pour in the sauce, and toss everything together.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the noodles evenly.
- Serve hot, with a sprinkle of sesame seeds if desired.
