Description

A fruity, no-bake twist on the classic tiramisu with luscious blackberry cream and soft layers.


Ingredients

  • Ladyfinger cookies
  • Mascarpone cheese
  • Blackberries
  • Heavy cream
  • Sugar
  • Lemon juice
  • Vanilla extract
  • Optional espresso or dessert wine
  • Blackberry jam or curd
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Simmer blackberries with sugar and lemon juice until syrupy; cool completely.
  2. Whip heavy cream with vanilla and a pinch of salt to soft peaks.
  3. Gently fold mascarpone and a few spoonfuls of blackberry syrup into the cream.
  4. Quickly dip ladyfingers into blackberry syrup (and espresso or wine if using).
  5. Layer soaked ladyfingers and blackberry mascarpone cream in a glass dish.
  6. Repeat layers, finishing with piped cream and fresh blackberries on top.
  7. Chill until set, then slice and serve cold.

Notes

  • For a stronger flavor, use more blackberry syrup.
  • Can substitute blackberries with other berries if desired.
  • Ensure the tiramisu is well chilled before serving for the best texture.
