A fruity, no-bake twist on the classic tiramisu with luscious blackberry cream and soft layers.
Ingredients
- Ladyfinger cookies
- Mascarpone cheese
- Blackberries
- Heavy cream
- Sugar
- Lemon juice
- Vanilla extract
- Optional espresso or dessert wine
- Blackberry jam or curd
- Salt
Instructions
- Simmer blackberries with sugar and lemon juice until syrupy; cool completely.
- Whip heavy cream with vanilla and a pinch of salt to soft peaks.
- Gently fold mascarpone and a few spoonfuls of blackberry syrup into the cream.
- Quickly dip ladyfingers into blackberry syrup (and espresso or wine if using).
- Layer soaked ladyfingers and blackberry mascarpone cream in a glass dish.
- Repeat layers, finishing with piped cream and fresh blackberries on top.
- Chill until set, then slice and serve cold.
Notes
- For a stronger flavor, use more blackberry syrup.
- Can substitute blackberries with other berries if desired.
- Ensure the tiramisu is well chilled before serving for the best texture.
