Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (baked and cooled)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • Fresh strawberries for topping
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare and cool the chocolate cake in a rectangular pan.
  2. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks and fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Spread half the cream filling over the cake, add another thin layer of cake crumbs or chocolate shavings, then top with remaining cream.
  5. Melt chocolate chips and butter together to make a smooth ganache.
  6. Pour ganache over the top and chill for at least 2 hours.
  7. Garnish with strawberries and chocolate curls before serving.
