- 1 lb Ground beef
- 8 oz Penne pasta
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp Olive oil or butter
- 1 Onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 cup Beef broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Paprika or chili flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté onion until soft.
- Add garlic and cook briefly, then brown the ground beef until fully cooked.
- Stir in tomato paste and seasoning; cook 1–2 minutes to deepen flavor.
- Pour in beef broth and cream; simmer until slightly thickened.
- Add pasta and Parmesan, tossing until creamy and well coated.
- Finish with parsley and extra pepper; serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add more paprika or chili flakes.
- Feel free to substitute ground beef with ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
