Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  2. Roll dough and cut into rounds; let rise again until puffy.
  3. Fry donuts in 350°F oil until golden on both sides, then drain on paper towels.
  4. For filling: heat milk, sugar, and cornstarch until thickened, whisk in egg yolks, then add butter and vanilla. Cool completely.
  5. Whip heavy cream and fold into custard for a light creamy filling.
  6. Pipe cream into each donut through a small hole.
