Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella
- 1 cup grated Parmesan
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 large eggs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- Fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti in salted water until just al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in Parmesan, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Let sauce cool slightly, then whisk in eggs to help the bake set firmly.
- Toss spaghetti thoroughly with the cream sauce and half of the mozzarella.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish, pressing gently to compact. Top with remaining mozzarella.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly. Rest for 10 minutes before slicing into thick stacks. Garnish with parsley and extra pepper.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
- Feel free to add cooked chicken or vegetables for added nutrition.
- Letting the dish rest before slicing helps it hold its shape better.
