Fluffy golden pastry rolls stuffed with tender shredded chicken and smothered in velvety cream sauce.
Ingredients

- 2 cups shredded chicken
- 1 can crescent roll dough (or soft pastry dough)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup creamy white sauce (gravy or ranch-style cream)
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp chives, chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (for a crispy topping)
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mix shredded chicken with softened cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until creamy.
- Roll out crescent dough triangles and place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each.
- Fold and roll into sealed “pillows.”
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle lightly with breadcrumbs.
- Bake at 375°F for 15–18 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Prepare creamy white sauce and pour over the warm chicken pillows.
- Garnish with chopped chives and serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add some diced jalapeños to the chicken mixture.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
