Description

Fluffy golden pastry rolls stuffed with tender shredded chicken and smothered in velvety cream sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1 can crescent roll dough (or soft pastry dough)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup creamy white sauce (gravy or ranch-style cream)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp chives, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (for a crispy topping)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix shredded chicken with softened cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  2. Roll out crescent dough triangles and place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each.
  3. Fold and roll into sealed “pillows.”
  4. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle lightly with breadcrumbs.
  5. Bake at 375°F for 15–18 minutes until golden and puffed.
  6. Prepare creamy white sauce and pour over the warm chicken pillows.
  7. Garnish with chopped chives and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add some diced jalapeños to the chicken mixture.
  • These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
