Ingredients

  • Sirloin or ribeye steak, cubed
  • Rotini pasta
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Heavy cream
  • Butter
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Dijon mustard (optional for depth)

Instructions

  1. Cook rotini pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, sear cubed steak in butter over medium-high heat until browned and medium-rare; set aside.
  3. In the same pan, lower heat and add butter, cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and smooth; add a touch of Dijon mustard if desired.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with cheese sauce, stirring to coat evenly.
  6. Top with seared steak pieces and drizzle a bit of sauce over the top.
  7. Serve hot, with a crack of black pepper for a perfect finish.
