Ingredients
- Sirloin or ribeye steak, cubed
- Rotini pasta
- Cheddar cheese, shredded
- Heavy cream
- Butter
- Garlic powder
- Salt & black pepper
- Dijon mustard (optional for depth)
Instructions
- Cook rotini pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- In a skillet, sear cubed steak in butter over medium-high heat until browned and medium-rare; set aside.
- In the same pan, lower heat and add butter, cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and smooth; add a touch of Dijon mustard if desired.
- Combine cooked pasta with cheese sauce, stirring to coat evenly.
- Top with seared steak pieces and drizzle a bit of sauce over the top.
- Serve hot, with a crack of black pepper for a perfect finish.
