- 2 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce
- 1 soft brioche bun
- Fresh jalapeño slices
- Shredded lettuce
- Cilantro
- 1 lime wedge
- Flour + cornstarch (for coating)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk with salt, pepper, and garlic powder for at least 15 minutes.
- Coat chicken in a flour–cornstarch mixture and fry at 350°F until crunchy and deep golden.
- Toast the brioche bun lightly.
- Layer shredded lettuce on the bottom bun, then place the crispy chicken on top.
- Drizzle Thai sweet chili sauce generously over the chicken.
- Add jalapeño slices and cilantro.
- Finish with a squeeze of lime and top bun.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double coat the chicken in the flour-cornstarch mixture.
- Adjust the amount of jalapeño slices based on your spice preference.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
