Description

Ingredients

  • 1 crispy fried chicken fillet
  • 2 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 soft brioche bun
  • Fresh jalapeño slices
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Cilantro
  • 1 lime wedge
  • Flour + cornstarch (for coating)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk with salt, pepper, and garlic powder for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Coat chicken in a flour–cornstarch mixture and fry at 350°F until crunchy and deep golden.
  3. Toast the brioche bun lightly.
  4. Layer shredded lettuce on the bottom bun, then place the crispy chicken on top.
  5. Drizzle Thai sweet chili sauce generously over the chicken.
  6. Add jalapeño slices and cilantro.
  7. Finish with a squeeze of lime and top bun.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, double coat the chicken in the flour-cornstarch mixture.
  • Adjust the amount of jalapeño slices based on your spice preference.
