- 1 1/2 cups Pecans (halves + chopped)
- 8 oz Semi-sweet chocolate (melted)
- 3 Eggs
- 1 cup Corn syrup (light or dark)
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 Unbaked 9-inch pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Place unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and crimp edges.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, corn syrup, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Stir in melted semi-sweet chocolate until fully combined and glossy.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans into the crust, then pour chocolate filling over them. Arrange pecan halves on top in a decorative layer.
- Bake 50–60 minutes until the center is just set but slightly soft in the middle.
- Cool completely (at least 2 hours) to allow filling to firm up before slicing.
Notes
- Ensure the pie cools completely for the best texture.
- Can be served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
