- 4 cups chopped green cabbage
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
- 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
- 2 tbsp brown sugar substitute
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp beef broth
- 1 tsp cornstarch (or xanthan gum for keto)
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess grease.
- Add garlic and ginger; sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, sweetener, sesame oil, beef broth, and red pepper flakes. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Mix cornstarch with 1 tablespoon water, then stir into skillet to thicken sauce.
- Add chopped cabbage and toss well to coat in sauce.
- Cook 5–7 minutes until cabbage softens but still has slight bite.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.
Notes
- For a keto-friendly option, use xanthan gum instead of cornstarch.
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to control the spiciness.
- Serve with cauliflower rice for a complete low-carb meal.
