Description
Homemade Samoa Donuts are soft baked donuts dipped in chocolate, topped with caramel-coconut, and drizzled with more chocolate, making them an irresistible treat.
Ingredients

- 2 cups flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup butter (melted)
- 1 cup shredded coconut (toasted)
- 1 cup soft caramel (melted with 2 tbsp cream)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (melted)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a donut pan.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth. Pour batter into donut molds.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and cooked through. Let cool completely.
- Toast shredded coconut until golden. Stir into melted caramel until coated.
- Dip bottoms of donuts into melted chocolate, let set on parchment.
- Spread caramel-coconut mixture evenly over the top of each donut.
- Drizzle melted chocolate over the donuts and allow to set before serving.
Notes
- Ensure the donuts are completely cool before adding toppings to prevent melting.
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
