Ingredients
- Chicken thighs
- Basmati rice
- Chicken stock
- Paprika
- Turmeric

- Dried oregano
- Cayenne pepper
- Chili flakes
- Brown sugar
- Lemon juice
- Frozen peas
- Green onions
- Cooking salt
- Perinaise or pink sauce (for serving)
Instructions
- Season chicken thighs with paprika, turmeric, cayenne, coriander, salt, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil in a wide pot and brown chicken on both sides; remove and set aside.
- Sauté onion and garlic in the same pot until soft and fragrant.
- Stir in rice, turmeric, paprika, oregano, chili flakes, and brown sugar; toast briefly.
- Pour in chicken stock and lemon juice, then nestle chicken back into the rice.
- Cover and simmer until rice is tender and chicken is fully cooked.
- Stir in peas, garnish with green onions, and serve with Perinaise if desired.
