- 1 cup pistachio paste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup dark chocolate (for ganache)
- ½ cup chopped pistachios (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line two 8-inch cake pans.
- Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, beat sugars, eggs, oil, and vanilla until smooth. Mix in buttermilk.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients into wet until just incorporated. Divide into pans and bake for 28–32 minutes. Cool completely.
- Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold into pistachio paste to create a smooth pistachio cream layer.
- Heat cream and pour over chopped dark chocolate to make ganache; stir until glossy.
- Layer cake with pistachio cream between layers, frost the top with ganache, and finish with chopped pistachios. Chill slightly before slicing.

- For a richer flavor, use high-quality dark chocolate for the ganache.
