- 2 sheets puff pastry (thawed)
- 6 slices ham
- 6 slices cheese (mozzarella or gouda)
- 1 egg (beaten for brushing)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp milk (for egg wash)
- Parchment paper for baking
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Lay one sheet of puff pastry on the tray and arrange ham and cheese evenly over it.
- Top with the second sheet of pastry and press gently to seal.
- Brush with egg wash (egg + milk) and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Cut into small squares using a sharp knife.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes until puffed and golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.

- For a vegetarian option, substitute ham with sautéed vegetables.
