Description

Sweet corn sautéed in bacon drippings for a smoky, buttery side that’s pure comfort.

Ingredients

  • Fresh or frozen corn
  • Bacon
  • Butter
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Paprika (optional for depth)

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet until crisp; remove and crumble, leaving a bit of drippings in the pan.
  2. Add butter and diced onion to the drippings; sauté until soft and golden.
  3. Stir in corn and cook until heated through and slightly caramelized.
  4. Add minced garlic and paprika; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Stir in the crumbled bacon and toss well to coat.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm straight from the skillet.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and use olive oil instead of bacon drippings.
  • Adjust the seasoning according to taste.
