Description

Crispy golden bread hugging layers of juicy corned beef and gooey melted cheese — pure comfort in every bite.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices of rye or sourdough bread
  • 8 oz sliced corned beef
  • 4 slices Swiss or provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter (softened)
  • Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each bread slice and sprinkle lightly with garlic powder.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Place one slice buttered-side down, add cheese, corned beef, and optional mustard, then top with another bread slice.
  4. Grill 3–4 minutes per side until the bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
  5. Press gently with a spatula for that perfect crispy crust.
  6. Slice in half and garnish with a sprinkle of thyme or parsley.
  7. Serve hot, with cheese stretching between the layers.
